“Best Valencia beaches near the Port and Marina”
All of these beaches have pristine waters, swaying palm trees, aquamarine waters and lots of ocean-side adventure. There usually are fees for equipment rental. Every destination offers something a little different.
After Malvarossa beach you’ll find Patacona beach with surfers and hippies, along with Spanish families.
El Saler beach is at the south of Valencia’s port, the views aren’t spectacular and the water isn’t very clear. The further you go down the coastline the better it gets.
La Devesa beach is the famous nudist beach at about a 25 minute drive from Valencia.
El Pinedo beach. Straight, gay and lesbian come to this beach to enjoy the sun. Clothing optional.
For clear water and nicer beaches you drive about an hour to Cullera beach by car. One of my personal favorites, great views. This beach is also clothing optional.
Where to eat at Valencia Beach area
Valencia is the home of the Paella, and the best place of all to eat this delicious and spectacular
rice dish is somewhere along the seafront at Valencia beach: we recommend the traditional,
almost legendary Valenciano favourite La Pepica (Paseo Neptuno, 6 and 8) or the trendier more laid-back El Surf (Paseo Maritimo, 8).
If you venture as far as Patacona Beach (northernmost of the main Valencia city beaches), try Llevant -(Paseo Maritimo La Patacona, 1) –
another classic beach restaurant also serving great seafood at reasonable prices.
Remember restaurants with outdoor terraces fill up especially at lunch times.
Bars and restaurants around Valencia Beach and Port area
Our main favorites around the beaches are: Vivir Sin Dormir, Destino 56 or hotspot Terraza A Babor (all of them on Paseo Neptuno).
For those craving Irish pub we recommed the Irish bar San Patricio
Some of Valencia’s best late-night clubs are located along the beach promenade in summer, especially Luna Rossa (Eugenia Viñes, 151) and the trendiest spot with maybe the best dancefloor vibe, Las Animas
The volleyball nets available to anybody who comes early enough to reserve them!
“try: the beach market for clothes and accessories”
Teens can get into their own adventure on The Wild Side (US$ 35), an excursion that includes snorkeling, biking and kayaking. Families who want to adventure together can try the Seahorse Cthe turquoise Caribbean Sea with schools of colored fish.
